It all started...
in August of 2003 when Erin and Bobby, unbeknownst to each others’ existences, enrolled at Purdue University; Erin majoring in engineering and Bobby in aviation. In her freshman year, Erin decided to change majors to aviation management, thus paving the way for both to meet. 

Over the years...
and through mutual friends, Bobby and Erin crossed paths many times, but remained mere acquaintances, although both were curious to get to know one another. One night, early in their senior year, Erin and Bobby showed up at the same party.  It ended up that they ditched said party and opted for a night on the town, spending a wonderful evening getting to know each other. In the following week, Bobby, who was admittedly too shy to ask her out earlier, invited Erin on their first date. Erin accepted, and the rest, as they say, is history!
